SAMPLE PRACTICE QUESTION FOR SO...THAT

A common misconception existed that the Earth is so
massive it has unlimited natural resources.

        (A) it has unlimited natural resources
        (B) that it’s natural resources are unlimited
        (C) the natural resources it has are unlimited
        (D) that it has unlimited natural resources
        (E) so it has unlimited natural resources

Reading the question, your first task is to eliminate any answer choices that do not match “so” with “that”.

This test allows for the elimination of choices (A), (C), and (E). You can then eliminate choice (B) because it is wordier than choice (D).

Thus choice (D) is correct.
